How it works

Register for the event
The Showcase is open to every confirmed registration. There's no entry fee and nothing extra to buy.

Apply with your car
Send up to three photographs and the story of your car — where it came from, what it has done, why it matters to you. Save a draft and come back to it; you can edit until applications close.

The committee reviews
A volunteer committee reads every application. Nothing is decided in public, and nobody hears anything until the whole field is ready.

The field is announced
Every applicant hears on the same day, by email. The selected cars appear on the Stuttgart Showcase page with their parking numbers.

The field is displayed together at the event, each car with a display card telling its story.

What the committee looks for
There's no checklist and no minimum. The committee is putting together a field — a collection worth walking through — so the story counts as much as the car: where it came from, how long it has been in the family, the work you've put into it, or simply why it matters to you. It doesn't need to be rare, old or concours-perfect.
Questions
Who can apply?
Anyone with a confirmed registration for this year's event. Applications open as soon as registration does — early-bird registrants can apply early.
Does it cost anything?
No. The Showcase is free.
Can I apply with more than one car?
Yes. Each car on your registration can be entered with its own photos and story.
Can I change or withdraw my application?
You can edit it until applications close, and withdraw a car at any time — even after it has been selected.
Is there a waitlist?
No. The committee picks the field once, and a car that withdraws isn't replaced.
What happened to the People's Choice car show?
This year the car show is curated rather than voted on: instead of every car on the lot competing for ballots, the committee assembles a field of cars with stories worth telling. There will still be some special awards presented at the Saturday evening banquet, along with Sponsors' Choice awards as in the past.
